more from an artist

Sid literally draws HUNDREDS of pictures each month - yes, I keep them. My original brainiac plan was to scan each one and have files and files of pictures she's drawn. I haven't done that. I have scanned maybe 0.5% of what she's drawn in her lifetime. I just couldn't keep up.
But when I find a picture I love, in the piles of pictures in her art box, I have to really take a moment to look at the details. I notice she's an equal opportunist - in hert artwork she has different ethnicities, twins, singles, triplets, widowers, young, old, pregnant, skinny, heavy, tall, short, miniature, hairless, hairy, happy, sad, stylish, wardrobally challenged (?) and plenty more. The mom who is first in line....I'm not sure if she's pregnant or carrying her weight in her backside, but either way, lots of us can relate to either one, right? I love this kid. The things that come from her mind just brighten my day. I'm so glad she's mine. The fact that God trusts ME with her, now that's really something.
