talent show

Our school's talent show was 50's themed and so cute! It was held a few weeks ago, and I thought it went really well. Sidney and my neice Annie, below, helped with some skits and stage crew jobs in between competitive acts on stage. They were so cute. Notice the skirts they're wearing - they were the skirts my mom made for my older sister Cherie and I back in the 80s when we were fifties chicks for Halloween. I LOVE that these girls got to use them! LOVE that my mom kept them all this time. She's wonderful at that.
Alyssa and her two friends sang and danced to Selena Gomez' song "Who Says" and it was so cute and uplifting and such a sweet song. I had to hear that song about 900 times in the days leading up to it, and I still am not sick of that song. Great job Selena. And great job, Alyssa and friends!
One of the acts Annie (far left) and Sidney (far right) were in was the twist.
Another rehearsal picture of Alyssa and her friends Anna and Naomi.
Sidney, in the red skirt, and her best friend Caitlin on the far right, leading the balloon orchestra. They blew them up, then let them make their horrible noises, then bowed and got off stage. Short and sweet. Loved it.
Another shot of Annie and her friend Joel, doing the twist. It thought Annie's twist was SO GOOD! She did the moves PERFECTLY!
