out on the trails

Twice this weekend we hiked at the Wildlands Conservancy in Oak Glen. My kids are all so happy out on the trails, on a hike, on a walk, just sifting through nature. They're all in their element, and seem to soak it all up. We saw hawks, ducks, little birds, and lots of signs about "dangerous" animals that could be out in the woods. Sidney loved that part. There were signs that told the names of some of the native bushes or trees, and Jack loved pointing those out for someone to read to him. We were all together, and happy, which is what Alyssa loves. And of course Bobby and I enjoy every second of happy kids getting good exercise! I brought the big camera, and here are a few of my favorite shots:
