spied a spider

Sidney, Alyssa and their cousins alerted me yesterday during our Thanksgiving festivities that they'd found a neat spider. Neat is relative. They think spiders are neat, and they want me to photograph them often. But when I finally saw this one, I got scared and excited all at the same time and had to take some photos. Then I stayed up all night, waiting to leave for black Friday stuff, and looked up this spider - turns out it's a Green Lynx spider and lots of it's babies, just perched in my mom's pretty succulent plant out in front of her house. When I told Sidney today that I figured out what kind of spider it was, she was delighted and immediately asked that I hurry and get this on the internet! She's so cute! I said I'd put it on my blog. She said "can you just put it on youtube?" Blogs aren't cool to Sid, I guess. Maybe this picture will help!
